05/12/08 		I agree with your logic, except I think it is important to celebrate a number of occasions that when the event occurred, as the Fourth of July, bc something non-religious and major success in that day. And technically, December 21 New Year should be, according to the Solar System, not bc going to be important to the pagans. I swear! It certainly was a mistake to make Christmas a public holiday. So it is not right for the rest of us who are not Christians. I think that your system, with one or two tweakds, it would be very good and I second the motion! Lady M

05/12/08 		Its better if the holidays are in a certain day and people not only get to choose. If people get to choose their vacation onwards would be more difficult to make work schedules.

05/12/08 		Ive been told for years. Holidays should only be 1-2-3-4, and people can call them what they want.

05/12/08 		If each of us has had a number of days of rest, legally binding, so the people can take their own favorite holiday if desired, and there is no reason for a special holiday for the preference of the public.
