18 would be (by law) the appropriate age. This is the age where you have to be considered an adult. Leaving a child or young teenager for a week to be checked would be too dangerous. |

If your child is old enough to put an ad on youtube on the long week at home then I would suggest that it is not a good idea to leave children at home alone. They may be able to heal themselves, but your house from drunken party gatecrashed children is another problem. rethink leaving only |
