N. government regulations. Yes, it would be nice if the worker has paid before, but my company pays only Friday, and if the holiday is Friday, we would have paid on Monday. 'tis not a good thing. :-( |

N. laws that are aware of. Generally, companies can gain in payroll before the holiday. For now, the employees, which is the advance extra day or two. If you take the day they paid for, you deduct that amount the next pay period. My experience has been a day or two before the holiday in order to allow sufficient time to cash the check. |

You should be paid the day before. This came with some one who has 3 years of HR / payroll experience. If you are in a 'Union, there is no way in which the Union would never let you get paid a day late |

There are government regulations when a worker is paid. Some companies pay weekly, biweekly some (26 per year) and about twice a month (24 per year). Since most companies to pay by bank transfer and the banks are not open holidays are willing to pay first, because it is good for employees. Holidays are usually not in any case on Friday, so that does not happen often. My company is required to have at work the day before and the day after the holiday to receive holiday. |

For the benefit of workers, the day after, so the worker does not lose the payment have been made for the holiday that falls on the day to pay. |

As far as I know, is the subject of company policy. I do not remember anything in terms of payment under the Labor Code. |

I'm not sure on both regulations, but when Payday falls on holiday, most people I know, occurs before their holiday. |
