I played all three parties are really all the same in terms of level of difficulty. The biggest challenge for the representation is double-tonguing (lots of it!). The other challenge in playing the part is mixing with the other so trumpeters sound like an ensemble. Practice your double-tonguing (especially in the central registry for the reproduction of the 3rd part) and practice all your joints work in general (and single tonguing down the stairs, for example) and you'll be fine. |

Im in 8th grade and my team gave me the director and the 1st and the second president holiday buglers playing together for a competition coming up. I have third party, and its hard to hear. Make a trumpet player who played this piece has any suggestions? |
