Roisen C 15/09/07	I work for a medical center and is very rare for a locum to travel home visits this is usually done by a partner and a locum is paid for a short period only, and the partners know the patients and is more relevant certifying the death, no locum, so I am surprised that you have done unless it was a family doctor and part-time rather than a locum

Pama 13/09/07	There may be nursing homes in the area worked. It is not unknown for the elderly to die you know, most residents of nursing homes have a local doctor who has to issue death certificates. GP may involve several houses in an area.

Plato 13/09/07	What can we say in America, the cat jumping on the bed of a person and then not long after the person is dead. The cat could smell something that gives off a dying body. The dog could also smell, and that there is a doctor every possibility that what he said Mrs. McCann is the truth.

Ysanne 13/09/07	This is ridiculous. Even if you were called to a death, whether someone at home, nursing home, etc., would not "manage" the body as such. In a nursing home, nursing assistants would help prepare the body for the companies, if the person died at home, companies could then be called to collect the body. All would have to do is observe that the person is really dead then sign the death certificate.
